"Thppt!"

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

16 April 2017 - Rituals are comforting in their familiarity and in their connection to the past (and in their promise of a future).  Cats are more of-the-moment creatures, but those of us who live with peeps (long-suffering we are) can detect patterns:  there are mornings that the taller peep pulls on his padded shorts, mornings that the shorter peep grabs the grocery bags.  Then there is the arrival of the Sunday paper.  One doesn't have to be literate to enjoy the comics.  The story plays out in broad-brush fashion, some geared solely for adults, some for a general audience.  I just appreciate that there is a medium that doesn't ignore us felines... although I can't fathom life with an Odie.
