home is where you hang your cat

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

9 June 2017 - I am fairly certain that all the peep preparation I have observed lately does not involve me.  However, the implications are that I will be left to "hold down the fort", while they disappear to wherever for however long.  I don't approve of travel, theirs or mine, but I wasn't consulted obviously.  So I will be sitting alone at the back door, as pictured here, waiting to hear familiar footsteps coming up the steps.  Should I detect unfamiliar ones, I have several good hiding spots to which I can retreat.  To my mind this sensible behavior still falls under the category of "holding down the fort".
