18 Mar 2025 - I know all the best places in our domicile to sprawl, whether for napping or bathing.  This list was formed through careful and thorough observation as I make my way on patrol.  Of course if Mr. Sol pulls a no-show, then I must make do on my own... with a bit of grousing.  However today looks like one of ample glorious sunshine, so excuse me while I take full advantage of the warm pools of light... because you never know when grayness will descend.

17 Mar 2025 - All of yesterday the pictured room was interloper central (until the taller peep spoiled my fun).  I suppose my two thought I was about business as usual, chasing the odd leep.  Their minds were changed when they spotted the ne'er-do-well - a meep in our domicile!  We quickly settled into a plan:  I would flush it from its hiding spot (at one point it scaled a tall light and perched on its hat), and they would escort it out (since I am strictly an indoor cat).  There were many failed attempts, but now I miss the excitement.

16 Mar 2025 - I haven't pooped out, rather I'm trying to decide if I'd rather go up the stairs or down.  This flight is just one of many that figure into my patrol.  Most of the time I traverse them at a clip, doing double-time on descents.  Occasionally I encounter something that needs investigation, but it is rare to find an interloper... perhaps because there isn't anywhere to hide, a no-fun land on which to be easily spotted.  Even dusk doesn't bring safety, as my vision excels at detecting movement.

15 Mar 2025 - Not wishing to be predictable, today I am favoring another of the domicile's portals.  This one has better sight lines, a more expansive picture of interloper activity... and a ledge where I can perch.  Facing the direction of Mr. Sol's appearance, it gives me a good idea of what weather lies ahead... should I conserve my heat or expend it, knowing more is on the way.  The latter is truly a gift, and I am overjoyed that it is reestablishing itself as the more likely scenario.

14 Mar 2025 - The things I have to do for my job... at least the work never gets boring!  Remember that skittering I mentioned a few days ago?  I actually spotted the culprit (or one of the culprits).  It was nonchalantly strolling across this office portal.  Fortunately for it, we were separated by ungiving glass.  It is very frustrating to see an out-of-reach interloper... the only consolation being that it wasn't inside our domicile.  Leeps truly aren't much of a threat:  small and without teeth, they aren't capable of much destruction, but for the sake of my reputation I can't appear to be a softie.

13 Mar 2025 - Is it meal time yet?  Sometimes cats are portrayed as finicky eaters, and I'll admit to being leery of strange foods (I have yet to find a peep food worth the bother... except for perhaps a soft yellow block-shaped item that my two favor).  But what I like I really like... there is no need to entice me to the bowl if it contains my kibble or my savory stew.  I don't exactly wolf it down, but the crockery barely needs washing when I am through.  And then I get to enjoy a few treats!  No wonder I show up at meal time.

12 Mar 2025 - The problem with being a leader is that you have to keep an eye on the followers... and is there anything more frustrating than herding peeps?  All concerned knows, from much repetition, that I must patrol the space off the office, and that that requires the opening of its portal.  Yet here I am stalled, waiting for assistance so that I can continue with my job... which my peeps agree is important to our domicile's safety (so how 'bout getting it into gear?!)
