Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

4 May 2026 - Cats are intrigued by unknowns:  what made that noise, why is the shorter peep changing clothes (and where is she going), how does this door open?  From observation I know that water flows in the pictured room, spraying from the wall, eddying around a drain, sloshing in a basin.  Most cats have no use for a pool of water, other than to drink from it and to watch other creatures gather there... some of which should be rousted and others that should be avoided.

  1. I see you have developed the skills to open peep doors....mine (especially Hitty) have honed those skills as well...Hitty can even open shutter slats if she thinks there is something worthy outside to look at (i.e. an interloper of the feline ilk)

  2. feline interlopers are very distressing (I'm glad we're separated by screen and/or glass).
