Me-usings and Me-emories
13 September 2013 - No, I am not green with envy. We cats, in order to see better in dim light, have a reflective layer behind the retina that bounces the light back into the eye...and here actually out of the eye as the color green. This handy adaptation is called the tapetum lucidum, and it probably has contributed to that ridiculous notion that we are manifest evil. Just gaze into my sweet face: Do I look like bad luck to you?
