7 December 2014 -  Sometimes you get what you asked for, so be very deliberate in those requests.  In my case it is an open door, but then I am presented with a whole new set of questions:  Do I really want to go outside?  What else is out there?  Am I going to be assailed by the neighborhood bully?  "Nervous as a cat" does have some basis in fact:  we possess nine lives, but we are loathe to waste one.
