9 August 2015 - Work, another four-letter word... sometimes one must turn his back to frivolity and push back on inertia.  To make this effort less herculean, the space should be inviting (whatever that means to you), and bribes aren't necessarily a bad thing.  Of the sort, okay, if you grind your nose for an hour, you get to <fill-in-the-angle-brackets> for ten minutes, these incentives do on balance placate the psyche as well as get the job done.  It goes without saying that you should enjoy the work...but sometimes that isn't how life plays out.  Bills must be paid, debts honored, so it is even more important that you strike an equitable deal with yourself.  My perk...it works every time...is the promise of a power nap.
