1 November 2015 - I was relieved when today's sun dispelled last night's darkness.  My two peeps left me alone on the eve of Day of the Dead, and the shadows and groans of the house made me more than jumpy.  I retreated to a corner where I could guard my back and chose an elevation that afforded a lookout.  And that is what I did:  watched for wraiths and other phantasmal creatures.  I may now have a few gray hairs.
