spook for yourself

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

31 October 2015 - From the back I can pass as a black cat, which today is very appropriate.  Anyone who knows us would be bemused as I am, in how my dark-coated brethren became associated in Western culture with evil-doing and misfortune.  Not so in Celtic tradition, where the appearance of a black cat signified good luck and prosperity.  I admit to possessing sharp claws and pointy incisors...but we are mostly domesticated carnivores that prefer a heated space and a steady meal plan.  Besides I can be brought to drool by a lovely head scratch.  How scary is that??
