17 October 2015 - I know what I am "supposed" to do, but some days I do not wish to comply. It is a matter of self-identity and, frankly, self-worth. I am no longer a kitten, and would like to think that I have some control of my life. Living with others means that compromise is necessary, just to maintain harmony...I understand this and mostly buy into it. But my wanting to sleep on this corner of the bed, not the other one, won't rattle the windows or eclipse the sun...but appears to be irking the shorter peep.
