Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

11 October 2015 - I have expressed my appreciation to the shorter peep for restoring my favorite sleep spot.   Our lives are made so much more enjoyable by those largely unnoticed ones who serve.  You know the ones I mean:  they haul away our garbage (and we cringe because they bang the cans), clean our shared spaces (and we make a mess shortly thereafter), prepare our made-to-order meals (and we roll our eyes as we wait).  I certainly could not do what they do and remain civil.  Privilege shouldn't blind me to my very good fortune or make me callous towards those with different circumstances.  But some days it is a struggle to be grateful.
