20 March 2016 - Yes, this is a picture of me....I just don't have a prominent role in this first day of spring.  I like this time of year purely because it precedes summer, which is why the shorter peep prefers autumn.  We are not all cut from the same cookie mold around here, giving variety in our dessert offerings.  After last night's shower, the azalea flowers are looking a tad spent, but they were lovely during their brief reign.  Evidently they are pretty enough to eat, as I have noticed a particular gray beep devouring the petals.  And if you are wondering:  I am obviously an oreo,  my shorter peep is a ginger snap, and the taller peep claims (and definitely has an affinity for) the chocolate chip cookie.
