16 October 2016 - The taller peep and I have been bacheloring it for the past two weeks.  We quickly resorted to our old habits… I wouldn't go so far as to label them "bad" habits… just not the sort of behavior we engage in while the shorter peep is watching.  Of course, this lapse isn't entirely my fault:  if the plate is offered, am I not expected to clean it up?  Anyway, we only have a short while longer before civilization will be insisted upon, and we will have to act accordingly.  I think, on balance, that I would rather have her around than not.
