8 March 2018 - And what will today bring?  The answer, or the wish to not know the answer, can keep us in our beds... where at least it is warm.  And then there is the hope that something can be salvaged from a bad start, counterbalanced by the foolishness of "it can't get any worse".  Oh, yes, that notion is laughable and marks the speaker as totally naive, as in "buy that fella a clue".  But we are an optimistic lot:  things will work out.. and typically they do, but just not in the way we had thought or planned.  So, whaddya gonna do?  Rise and shine... if not for my benefit then for my peeps'.
