13 March 2018 - I think my peeps get a tad nervous when I am perched on this railing... which isn't why I occasionally hop up. As you can see, the view from here is worth the effort. And, if we are honest, we all live with risk, even when sleeping in our beds. So this five-inch wide walkway is quite adequate for my needs... perhaps not for the size-ten feet of the taller peep. I have never tried landing on four paws from this height, and also don't feel the need to test the adage. Reckless behavior we don't have to live with.
