27 February 2019 - Nope, I am not resting my chin on my paw.  It is just the angle of the picture, but it is how wrong impressions get formed.  "Well, I saw.... "  Actually one can't always trust these snap judgments.  A quick glance, an overheard phrase, a perfumed whiff, and our overactive brain supplies a befitting context.  Likewise that image to my left isn't of tree trunks, but a reflection of the clerestory windows I am facing.  It just further underscores the illusion that is our experience.  The Burmese cats call it "meowya", i.e., pretending to have a quality that is in fact not present.  Rather like me claiming to have pockets... but I suppose that is a very purrdestrian example.
