Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

8 Aug 2021 - Sometimes even a heat-loving black-and-white can't sit in the sun.  My peeps refer to it as the dead of summer, but I think of it as the height of the season.  Even so, there is a point at which the brain liquifies, and I must do my job from the shadows.  Interlopers have their comfort zone as well, which means that there is less traffic to monitor when it is scalding hot (or when the monsoons are upon us).  Just as there is a rhythm to the heavenly bodies, my work has a natural ebb and flow, with ample intervals for napping.
