Me-usings and Me-emories
16 Sep 2021 - Peeps, at least the older variety, don't like to bend their knees, so ducking beneath a handy chair or sofa or bed is an easy, quick way to hide. This low corner view gives me surveillance of the main room, without having to avoid feet (or eyes). I haven't quite categorized a soft thump that is pinpointed high up and almost always is followed by a rolling noise. Nothing, knock on wood, untoward has occurred (yet), but it remains a concern. These strange sounds awaken me from a refreshing nap, and send me scurrying for a hideout. And niggling my feline brain is the possibility that this whatever has no problem seeing under things.

It doesn't hurt to have an
alternative to the back-up plan.

Catty Corner
word of the day - meowsterious, difficult to comprehend or explain (it's what you don't know....)
Catty Corner
hmmm...pinecones? just be glad it only sounds like rolling off the roof, not skittering around on it!
