Me-usings and Me-emories
15 Sep 2021 - I do love our morning routine, and run laps through the rooms in my excitement for it to begin. The shorter peep can be exasperating in her slowness to arrive at the sofa spot, first preparing her food, then mine, then consuming nourishment, finally removing traces of our eating. Eventually my waiting is rewarded: a brushing, a warm lap, uncountable head pats. Very little is spoken, it is all the better to hum with the background drone of the universe. I like to add my voice in polyphonic harmony. B-flat is a supurrlative key for cats.
