6 December 2021 - As you can see, the shorter peep has been busy... although I'm not complaining as we still manage to have good lap time together. And don't tell her, but with all this sunshine I don't need to steal as much peep warmth (but it is always appreciated). I seem to recall something like this happening in the near past (sorry, felines only keep a vague sense of time), our domicile getting cluttered with shiny objects and dressed up with sparkly lights. And, like a craze, it disappeared one day, and normalcy returned. So I'm going to take the long view here: I will outlast this change.
