no, no, not a plague

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

2 Dec 2021 - Although the overnight temperatures are still making me grouse, I love all this afternoon sunshine.  And I feel very lucky to have a domicile that affords so many spots to enjoy the view (and soak up the rays).  All in the name of home security mind you, that I make my rounds and peer out upon the wilderness.  Even when activity is low, I can't let down my guard.  I may be the lightweight in the family, but my role is crucial.  How else can my peeps relax, without worries to tense their thoughts and wrinkle their brows?  Besides, we each should pursue what we're good at... and pursuit is second nature to a cat.

  1. you may be the literal lightweight in your home, but you have the sharpest claws and teeth! also the fleetest of foot(s), so are quite the formidable guard
