5 Apr 2023 - After sitting very still for a goodly amount of time, I cease to be seen, or at least perceived to be a threat.  I can almost pinpoint the moment that occurs, for the interlopers that had been skulking in the shadowy edges of the woods suddenly come into the sunlight, stretch, flex, vocalize.  It is an exciting time to be unnoticed, as I can observe them acting more naturally, and can better assess their adversarial skill sets.  In these rational moments I realize that our domicile is really quite safe from serious assault, but that would not be the opinion of my emotional half.
