11 Jan 2024 - Such sharp light isn't always Mr. Sol's demeanor, so when I find a glowing patch I take advantage of it, schedule a work break, and plop down in its warmth. This spontaneity counters any notion you might have of my being inflexible: I can make an exception if such is warranted. Look how distinct my shadow is upon the floor: one might guess it belongs to me just by that truncated ear. Although it renders my face asymmetrical, I can't say that the loss of surface area has noticeably diminished my hearing... why, sometimes I hear things that aren't even there!

Maybe that truncated ear tip has actually given you the ability to hear things that your peeps cannot….you may be all that is keeping them safe from teeming hordes of potential evildoers….your ability to hear them may be all that keeps them at bay
