1 Sep 2024 - After spending eternity with that cone, I would not be tolerating a dunce cap, even a colorful birthday hat, unless it was purrtend... which the shorter peep assures me it is... although there is the weighty evidence of this photograph.  Cats aren't overly concerned with natal anniversaries... having nine lives downplays their significance.  But I did get my wish, without the involvement of fire, by spending the evening in a cozy lap.  My only complaint, not that I'd mention it to the lap's owner, is that the peep game kept interrupting my slumbers.
