12 Jan 2025 - Who would reject a post-meal treat?  It is the perfect conclusion to an otherwise largely functional but tasty event.  So I dally, in hopes that today will be the day.  It used to be routine to be offered a little something... obviously I took it for granted, like my serving of kibble.  But its repeated absence has reminded me how much I enjoyed those chewy little bits.  With the edge of my hunger softened I could actually savor their taste, prolong the chewing.  Next time I'll pay attention.
