1 Oct 2025 - "Halt, and identify yourselves!"  Oh, it is just my two peeps, returning to our domicile... but one can't be too careful when it comes to interlopers.  I don't check every noise at the main entry point (that would be predictable), just when it can be shoehorned into my work schedule.  And on these missions I have to keep my engine running, lest I spot an alien peep and need to skedaddle.  Most of the time I am able to catch a familiar voice or a recognizable stride, and can identify the one who is approaching long before I have a visual.
