where no meow has gone before

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

9 Nov 2025 - Behind me you will notice that the doors are parted:  the only way that I can patrol this area off the office is with assistance.  But my peeps acknowledge the importance of what I do, so they help out (after considerable prodding).  This area is fairly remote, from an interloper's viewpoint, but I have seen here the occasional leep hurrying about its business.  So I add additional zip to its pace, with a warning to be carried back to the 'hood.  Not every encounter with a ne'er-do-well needs to end "badly".  In fact I prefer the soft-paw approach:  it seems to be effective (and is definitely less messy).

phrase of the day - no meow's land, disputed ground between the front lines of a cat and his enemies
