2 Feb 2026 - It isn't everyday that this portal is open for viewing, and at its elevation not much interloper activity can be seen. Nonetheless I can't nap until I've gazed upon our southern canopy. Mr. Sol truly favors this spot, and when his light isn't blocked I can find (and enjoy) a toasty patch of heat down on the floor. Yesterday all three of us were "in the office", the warmest spot in our domicile. As manager I have taken note that productivity ticks up when the thermometer ticks down.
