14 April 2014 - I am fairly certain that I was misunderstood.  Just because I backed off the tabletop in reaction to this thing's lunge toward me, doesn't mean that I was frightened.  Certainly there was an element of surprise to be napping one minute, then being jolted awake.  But my primary response was one of incredulity:  surely the shorter peep is not suggesting that a house guest should help with the housekeeping.  And it's not like I don't pull more than my weight around this place.  I won't forget her insinuation any time soon.  She may think that elephants have long memories.
