Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emoriess

15 May 2016 - We tuxedo cats are made for the world of shadows.  We can sit out of plain sight, obscured by an overarching plant.  Although nocturnal creatures, unlike vampires, we can enjoy the sun's brilliance...hidden, if we so choose.  From this corner of the screened porch, I often do my reconnaissance work, quietly watching, taking it all in.  Out-of-sight doesn't mean unnoticed in the mammal kingdom:  most of us (peeps appear to be the exception) have a keen sense of smell that would alert a passer-by to my presence.  The more sophisticated would also realize that a barrier separates us, and would cautiously continue about its business.  To be an observer is to impact the experiment.
