1 May 2016 - A few blogs ago, I was extolling all the ledges in our domicile.  Here is another favorite spot of mine:  the balcony railing.  I can lie high above the sitting room below, hang out while the peeps gape in front of the television, or overlook one of their eating rituals.  It is indeed a great spot.  Local cat lore attests that one of my predecessors fell asleep here and rolled off onto the floor twelve feet below.  I am sure, if this hard-to-believe story is true, that he landed on his feet... and made the comment, after licking a paw,"I intended to do that."
