14 June 2016 - The world looks a bit milky...I must have just awakened from a dream, no doubt about a tropical island and brilliant sunshine.  We have had a few bright moments, but I have to go deep in my memory for a sunny day.  It would be too depressing to confess that I have forgotten what it feels like to bask in heat.  But all I can do is complain about this weather (and outlive it).  The locals remind me that it isn't officially summer yet.  That is true, but I think it quite silly to accept such an unpopular precept without a fight.
