7 September 2016 - I am not the only one who has registered a nip in the air... which is why I have met the enemy on the battlefield.  Without pointing a finger, the shorter peep casually mentioned that a meep had left its calling card in the kitchen, and several nights now we have heard gnawing noises just outside the bedroom window.  Yes, the hoards are storming the gates.  My very presence is a deterrent for all but the stupidest and most determined, so I await them.  I have drawn a line with rocks.
