26 February 2018 - The shorter peep smirks that at times like these I remind her of a sausage being extruded.  I chose to feign ignorance of the reference, and point out (who knows if she receives) that it is her failure to open the door that reduces me to this indignity.  After more than thirteen years of cohabitation, our willingness to poke the other shouldn't surprise.  The repartee is quickly forgotten, and we move along, our wits freshly sharpened for the next skewering.
