8 February 2018 - My daily routine is admittedly predictable, but obviously I like it that way.  However I am not opposed to an occasional change-up.  Sometimes the shorter peep puts my breakfast elsewhere and in a different dish (she would have to provide the reason), and I am not so rigid as to forgo eating.  I might renege on principle if I thought that she was mocking my monotonous life... but that isn't how I read the situation.  Viewing something from a different angle can provide more details, more appreciation, and provoking more enjoyment of mealtime isn't a bad thing.
