17 January 2019 - Some of you may be envious of my situation:  being able to eat and eat, and never gain an ounce.  However, beneath that alluring statement, just as what lies under a rug, is the not so palatable truth that "something" lurks, hidden from view.  An overactive thyroid, insatiable inflammation, something is either hindering my absorption of nutritions or gobbling up the calories once they are available.  I don't pretend to know what is at the root of my recent skinniness, but I'm not going to lose hair with worry (on these cold mornings I need all the fur I can get).
