Me-usings and Me-emories
16 May 2021 - Two roofs over my head seems like unnecessary protection... especially on a day with little chance of rain... but I prefer to play it safe. And as you can see, just barely, that second ceiling obscures my presence, which is a bonus when one is the domicile protector. At the moment I'm not sneaking up on anything, as I'm enjoying my five-minute break. My negotiated contract guarantees me one such respite every hour on the job. But the passage of three-hundred seconds is purely guesswork when one doesn't wear a watch (or feel bound by its clockwork) or conceive of quantities beyond a pawful. No worries, I work for understanding friends, so purrcision is not required.
