7 Feb 2022 - For those of you for whom Monday is the start of your work week, I am sorry... and when your Monday is gray and chilly, you have my complete sympathies.  To begin one's day by grousing doesn't hold high promise for what is to come, yet here I sit, wanting to patrol the screened porch but not pleased with our morning weather.  The shorter peep has forecast sunshine sometime today, and although I appreciate her rosy encouragement, can she deliver?  I'll have to be satisfied, for the moment, to eat my breakfast and hunker down in a cozy spot... to wait.
