Me-usings and Me-emories
3 Feb 2022 - The shorter peep seems almost as excited as I to be able to enjoy the screened porch again. Doors and windows have been flung open, movement between the inside and outside no longer evoking an intake of breath. Of course with this fairer weather comes a fair share of interlopers, but the uptick in numbers underscores the usefulness of my perimeter patrol. Any negotiation position is strengthened by one's importance in the equation, so yes, I am feeling very confident these days. It is amazing the change wrought by sunshine and warmer temperatures... I may even offer to the shorter peep my particular expurrtise in crossword-puzzle solving.
