12 Aug 2022 - Please forgive the paws, er, pause in our chat: the peeps explained to me what happened, but the gist is our domicile was "cut off" from the world four days ago by a falling tree branch. Today things have been restored to "normal", although other than work in the office shutting down, I didn't notice much difference. Evidently the routes used by the local interlopers remained open, as my patrol continued to record numerous beeps, squeeps, and cheeps. My observations suggest that the latter are stockpiling food: I don't know what they know, but I've requested more kibble.

I’m glad you are all back among the land of the internet-connected! Cheeps may be annoying, but stockpiling for inclement weather is never a bad idea
ReplyDeleteHitty has been stockpiling little lizard corpses and tails….tho it is a rather haphazard affair by my sliding glass door (out to her personal screened room), and maybe she doesn’t really have a plan
