18 Aug 2022 - If I were a black panther, instead of a tuxedo cat, imagine how difficult I would be to spot in the shadows!  These out-of-the-way, overlooked nooks attract interlopers, so my patrol route must include them.  Even with my white blaze, the two peeps often stroll by, without realizing how narrowly they escaped swatted ankles.  I would never do such a thing, but I've imagined the surprised reactions many times... which is almost as satisfying (and certainly doesn't get me into trouble).
