lumps of cold

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

8 Oct 2022 - I love my early-morning rounds, when the landscape is still and the interlopers are sleepy-eyed.  Although I am quite certain this domicile is the one known for its sultry heat, since my thank-Bastet arrival the days have begun quite chilly... but I'm so glad to be back on my personal screened porch that you'll hear no complaints from me (for a while anyway).  I still am wearing my medium-weight fur coat from my northern stay, so I am mostly dressed for this weather.  And that will have to suffice:  my peeps know better than to dress me in sweater and socks.

  1. My grandmother (commenting on a childhood attempt) said “you have no idea how hard it is to dress a cat” (in doll clothes)
