Me-usings and Me-emories

10 Oct 2022 - All the recent wear-and-tear finally caught up with me... and I had a most restful, overly long nap.  We all benefit from an undisturbed period of rest... free of burdens and worries, as if we were once again kits with a fearsome momma looking over us.  Alas, Bastet keeps her objective distance and certainly isn't as emotionally demonstrative as her devotees sometimes need.  But if a dream can be worked into the sleep, a dream in which I have super-powers perhaps or am acclaimed as the kindly jungle-king, both revered and respected... then the shortfalls of my wakeful existence can be temporarily overlooked.
