16 May 2023 - Sometimes I forget that if I got myself into a what-was-I-thinking situation, then I can get myself out... you must admit that shinnying up is less scary than shinnying down. But once you've looked down from the heights, then the realization hits you... and you can't pretend you don't know what you know. Of course, as every time in the past, I returned to earth and continued with my patrol... but it was a fretful couple of minutes while I sized up my options and gambled with my fate and took the leap.
