17 May 2023 - There are not many cushions to choose from on my personal screened porch.  It is a minor complaint, especially when weighed next to all the amenities of this spot.  I can't recall the last time I've had cold paws (nor do I wish to), and now I am often able to stretch out and emanate my body heat into the vast cosmos... a small contribution to the empty chill that surrounds us.  This time of year (my favorite season) it has retracted to a distance that, at least in these parts, we can ignore its presence and revel in the healthy generosity of Mr. Sol.
