15 Feb 2025 - I must tread softly in the morning, rather like a church meep trying not to draw too much attention.  Getting the shorter peep up and into the kitchen has yet to fail, but I always feel as if progress could easily backslide... if aggravated or startled she just might crawl back into bed?  So I am especially gentle, in meow and movement, until she is truly awake and underway with breakfast preparation.  Even then my waiting isn't over, just lessened.
