19 Oct 2025 - I need to work on my technique for burrowing beneath pillows. Ideally I would like to do so without giving my presence away, because the shorter peep quickly deduced where I had taken myself when the doorbell rang. But otherwise I was unmolested, and as I learned in the hinterlands, it can be a warm retreat on a chilly day. Not that I am (already) complaining about our southerly weather... but Mr. Sol could be having a stronger presence.
