27  Apr 2026 - My and the shorter peep's game of hide-and-seek is a very truncated version:  I peek out from behind something, she makes a move toward me, and I skedaddle... it was fun while it lasted!  I suspect that my real goal is to get her attention and maybe snag a head pat or some other reward for being a good fella (or handsome or clever or... a number of adjectives come to mind).  Ideally she would not have other obligations so that her availability is a given... but that is my wishful living in meow-meow land.
