Me-usings and Me-emories

26 Apr 2026 - We cats tend to be early-morning risers.  There is something very satisfying to quietly pad through a silent house, on the lookout for anything amiss.  And an unremarkable first round is a good omen for the remainder of the day.  Upon its completion the shorter peep is typically stirring, and I can then join her for breakfast.  We have fallen into a comfortable arrangement, that her absences sorely test.  But the past can't be changed, so I focus on the now... which is pretty darn good.
