Me-usings and Me-emories

16 November 2013 - Here is the lion, stealthily crouched in the savanna grass, waiting for an unsuspecting prey.  That is largely wrong, as it is a group of lionesses typically that stalks and kills.  We kings of the forest actually stay in the pride area, looking after the kits and defending the territory.  Blame it on our maleness, but all the fur around the head makes us prone to heat exhaustion so we aren't particularly good at prolonged physical exertion.  Leave the brief bursts of energy to us, but after that we need a nap...and breakfast in bed.
